PRELIMINARY DESIGN AND PRICING

The next step will be the preparation of a preliminary design sketch.

Before work on the sketch can commence, a Champion Homes site inspector will visit the site and prepare a site inspection report which will include spot levels, and identification of any constraints to building a duplex on your site.

When the site inspection is completed the Champion Homes drawing office will prepare a suitable sketch based on the client brief and the site inspection report. The preliminary design, once complete will be passed to the Champion Homes pricing office where a tender is prepared based on the design sketch and information taken from the site inspection report.

On completion of the tender the Champion Homes design consultant will arrange to meet with the client to review the design sketch, and the tender. During this meeting the matters to be reviewed and discussed will include an assessment of the design sketch against the original client brief and a discussion of the tender inclusions and pricing.

Once satisfactory agreement can be reached on the design sketch, the tender price and the client signs and accepts the tender, Champion Homes will move to prepare the development application for council submission.
